Happy Birthday!
Judd is 13! Judd's birthday fell on a school day but most importanly it fell on BMS football game day!
He was so excited about playing football on his birthday!
Most of you know that Judd is a huge Auburn fan so this gift was perfect ~
a '06 Quentin Groves game jersey! It is now worn each Saturday on College gameday!

Happy 16th Anniversary to my dear husband! I love you much!
Our anniversary fell on the day of Jason's 20th H.S. reunion and we celebrated both!
We had a nice dinner, lakeside, along with the August heat!
It was a wonderful day!

A day of golf and my chocolate cake!

Half Blood Prince

I can't wait to see this movie! I started the series a couple years back after Judd read them and I too became a fan! I read "Half Blood Prince" at the beach last week so I am FIRED UP! Jase, Judd & I are meeting up with friends to see the midnight premiere. So excited! I am 5 chapters into "Deathly Hallows" ~ it is FABULOUS!

Additions to the Fam!

Let me introduce the new members of the fam! We have had these sweet kittens for 3 weeks now. Someone tossed them out & church friends sent them our way. We just love them! This is Lizzie, our Golden Retriever ~ isn't she cute!
Lizzie in action!
She loves water! She splashes more than she drinks! Notice the Orange and Blue collar, we will purchase proper attire when we visit Auburn in a few weeks!
And tomorrow, two more family members will arrive. Cats, Jess & Jack. A dear friend needed a home for them so we are taking them in as well. I will post their pics later!

So.....I've been away awhile

Summer has been busy! Life has been flying by so fast I can hardly believe. Here are a few pics of us "out & about":
We had a wonderful vacation on the gulf coast! ~More pics later~

After 3 long years, Judd finally had his braces removed & at the same appointment, Jase had them put on! Also, Jase saw his Cardiologist in June and received an excellent exam! We were thrilled as was Dr. Pearce!

One of many days in the pool! Judd's baseball team had an awesome season! They came in 1st place! Judd had great coaching this year, he really enjoyed playing for them.

We rafted the Ocoee ~ so much fun but the water was very cold!
This is Ross-Bridge in Birmingham. Dad took the boys to the annual celebrity golf match. They loved every minute!

I hate that in a few short weeks, summer vacation will end and my boys will return to school. Jase will begin his High School journey ~ absolutely crazy! As a mom, the thought is hard to grasp but I am really excited for him. I am anticipating the future, it's looking very bright!

Our Finished Project

Our dining room is now complete! Jason turned out to be quite the carpenter and he actually enjoyed this project. Jason also chose the paint color and I LOVE IT! He did a superb job!

Cherished Artwork

While Jason worked on the moulding in the dining room, I framed a couple of my "Van Gogh's". The paintings date back to year 2000 and 2002, the kindergarten years. (Jase, top; Judd, bottom) I love their Eric Carle creations ~ so precious! I plan to interchange paintings because I have to many favorites!

A Blogging Hiatus

I have been such a blogging slacker! I took a "blog hiatus" and have seriously let things pile up. Easter is right around the corner, activities at church, one playing baseball & oneplaying golf AND Jill, Sunny & I have a business to launch! Whew! Did I miss anything? Probably, but let me share a few photos and fill you in on what we've been up to!

Jason is adding Wainscot Moulding to our dining room. He still has a way to go and we have yet to decide on a color but I will post photos of his completed project later!

Judd's catch of the day! One of the reasons the boys are loving warmer weather, the fish are biting! He caught this Bass in our pond.
Jill & Jeff get ready, cause Judd's coming over hoping to catch supper!

The PBR came to B'ham and Jason took Jase. This is Jase with Chris Shivers, his favorite bull rider. Jase has waited to meet him since he was 7 yrs. old! Needless to say, Jase was so excited! We have meet Ty Murray (twice), Tuff Hedeman and
Cody Lambert, all Jase's favorites. Jase is a happy guy!

I had a Birthday, my 35th!!!
I received the new Pentax Optio P70 and I love it! I've been anticipating it's release since fall ~
The little gem is the size of my cell phone and makes FAB pictures! It goes with me everywhere!

The girls & I went to Explosion ~ we heard some really great (but loud) music!
Building 429, Above the Golden State, After Edmund & Kimber Rising
These girls had me laughing all night!

I am loving the signs of Spring! My sweet hubby picked these for me!

Bogeys and Birdies!
March 9 was the beginning of BMS golf season!
Me & Judd. He gets bored out on the golf course, trying to be quiet. Those of you who know Judd, know he's not quiet! It's a hard task for this guy!Jase: "Mom, I'm not in the mood for a picture!"
Me: "Please, just a half a smile."
He was having a bad day, he didn't do as well as he thought he should have.
Jason & I thought he did great!

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

On March 5, I participated in my 1st walk/run 5k. It was great fun and my entry fee went to a great cause, Hospice of Marshall County. I can't wait until next year! I also have a list of local "fundraiser 5K's" that I plan to partake in. :)

In February, our youth had a lock-in and participated in World Visions 30 hour Famine. The act of recognizing, reflecting and praying for those suffering from poverty can be quite the blessing!
